WE CELENRATE 5 YEARS ANNIVERSARY!

The main goal of the first Moscow FemFest in 2017 was to talk about feminism and gender issues in a constructive way, separating the grains of benefit from the chaff of prejudice. From the very beginning, it was important for us to make the festival popular and create a space for dialogue, where representatives of science, activism, business and government, as well as a wide audience could meet to voice problems together and think about how to solve them. Last year, Moscow FemFest became international. And in this we launched an award to support gender initiatives in the regions of Russia.

The idea of the Moscow FemFest Award arose out of the same thirst that drove us five years ago - to give the floor not only to well-deserved stars, but also to those who are not yet visible. Because somewhere in the space of our country, people who are worth telling the world are quietly shining with good deeds and important projects.
